Tide business referral code 2WBRQ7 – Make your company money work for you

A bit of promotion but a good promo for freelancers. I closed my Shawbrook business instant savings account to switch to Tide. It offers a 4.33% AER at the moment, and it’s good to make the cash flow work a bit for you.

Tide Business Saving Account Review 2024

Tide offers a bit more than 4% per year.

What I like is that it is an instant access account, so the money is not blocked when you need it. Instead of keeping all the company money I will need at some points (for VAT, corporation tax, etc) in my Revolut Business account, I can make the funds work a bit.

You will need to download the app to get started. I can refer you. For this, you need to enter the Tide referral code 2WBRQ7 when prompted. You will need to add your company details and also personal details with a photo of your passport and take a selfy.

In my case, I managed to do all the steps, but I still had to contact customer service to request a call back to sort something before my account was fully active and running. If you can’t contact them through the app, the contact support email is indiasupport@tide.co

I had a quick reply by email saying I should either call or request a call back. I got a callback the same morning and my account was fully open and working the next day.

This savings account seems great. By making the money staying on my business account for tax future payments, it will fully compensate the annual cost (business expense cost) of my Amex Business credit card giving me all the travel perks I love (£200 travel credits per year, Lounge access worldwide, travel insurance, points I can then convert as Avios for flight rewards, £75 dell.co.uk credits every 6 months, etc)

Get that business money to work for you (and maybe cash out an extra £50)
