How I Work
For each project, I like to take full ownership of the web development until we go live.
I work very closely with producers and designers to translate visuals into interactive stories that feel smooth and purposeful.
Every project is different. Sometimes I join early in the process and help shape how the story could unfold online. Other times I receive a polished design and focus fully on execution, performance, animation enhancement, and all the behind-the-scenes tech bits.
I adapt to each team’s way of working. Whether we are sharing ideas on Slack, coordinating through shared docs, or working with tight timelines and quick handoffs, I make sure communication stays clear and everything moves forward efficiently. I care a lot about keeping the team happy and making everything I can to keep the process smooth at all time.
The goal is always the same: an experience that looks great, performs well, and feels right.
I translate visuals into clean, performant code looking good at all breakpoints, taking in consideration SEO and adding animations and transitions where they enhance the story.
I use Webpack to combine HTML partials, compile and compress SCSS and JavaScript, and I optimise everything for a static handoff, including image and video assets. Most projects are delivered as standalone builds.
Each team has its own workflow. Sometimes I handle everything, from setting up the Git repository within the company organisation to deploying the build live. I am proud to be trusted in large organisations with internal access. Other times, I build within provided headers and footers, and hand over to another developer for deployment (Git branch or packaging the files).
For microsites, I sometimes manage the full technical setup: server, database, DNS, CMS, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
